#YouthTube2017 is your chance to create something exciting, gain exposure and make a difference! Ultimately, your film could help to save lives.

We've also got some amazing prizes for the category winners as well as the institution with the most entries.

Entry Details

Who Can Enter?

Youth between the ages of 15 – 25 years.

What Are The Categories?

There are two categories:

  • Category 1: Youth aged 15 - 19.
  • Category 2: Youth aged 20 - 25.

Please make sure that you enter the correct category.

What Do You Need To Do?

Create a short film (between 30 seconds and 3 minutes long), either on your own or with a group of your friends. The film doesn't have to be shot using high-tech equipment but should be of good quality so that we can play it online. You can create an animation or have your best friend star in your film, it's up to you and your creativity!

 

Your film can be in another language aside from English, but please include subtitles if you choose this option. Complete the entry form below and forward your film via WeTransfer (www.wetransfer.com) to youthtubecompetition@wpbts.org.za. Please make sure that you include your full name, surname and title of your film in the WeTransfer message.

What Does The Film Need To Communicate?

The main message of your film should be to encourage youth to donate blood and help save lives! Please download the Competition Brief with all the important details and T&Cs.

Entry Details

Enter from 28 June 2017 until 28 September 2017. Winners will be selected by way of voting by the public and will be announced in November. Voting will take place from 1 October 2017 – 31 October 2017.
